The couple married on December 13, 1974, and went on to raise five children together: Amy, Ann, Sarah, Steven and Gregory.
Their marriage endured not only the extraordinary highs of Wayne’s career with The Osmonds, but also serious health challenges. Over the years, Wayne faced a brain tumor, cancer, hearing loss and a previous stroke. Through those difficult chapters, family and faith remained central to his life.
Although intimate details or private last words exchanged between Wayne and Kathlyn have not been publicly confirmed, one fact makes his final hours especially poignant: after 50 years of marriage, Kathlyn was still there beside him.
