Introduction
My sweet girl is in the hospital right now, and these past few days have been incredibly difficult for our family. Seeing someone you love lying in a hospital bed is a kind of pain that is hard to put into words. There are moments when fear takes over, when the uncertainty feels overwhelming, and when all we can do is hold her hand, stay close, and remind her that she is deeply loved.
Even in the middle of this difficult time, she continues to amaze us with her courage. She is tired, and some moments are harder than others, but she is staying strong. Her bravery shines through in the smallest ways—in a gentle smile, a quiet laugh, or the way she tries to reassure everyone around her even when she is the one going through so much. She may be my sweet girl, but right now, she is also one of the strongest people I know.
We are taking things one day, one hour, and sometimes one moment at a time. We are incredibly grateful for the doctors, nurses, and hospital staff who are caring for her with patience and compassion. Their kindness has brought us comfort during some of our most frightening moments.
Please keep my precious girl in your thoughts and prayers. Pray that she receives strength when she feels weak, peace when she feels afraid, and healing with each new day. Please also pray for wisdom and guidance for the medical team caring for her.
